Apply For A Grant

If you would like to apply for a grant, please note that the thematic priorities for the Trust in the next funding rounds are as follows: The Trust is currently seeking to support one or more high quality research projects starting in early 2018 with funds coming on stream in April 2018. We positively encourage applications involving one or more other sources of funding.

While the Trust welcomes applications to support projects related to all areas of our work as set out elsewhere, in this funding round, and mindful of the context of the UK leaving the EU, we will give particular preference to the following themes:

Federalism, trade and democracy;
Devolution in the United Kingdom, in particular to sponsor projects involving events in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the North or South West of England;
Comparative federalism with a focus on projects that involve the US federal system.

If you wish to apply, please complete the form provided below. A trustee can provide guidance if you seek it. The final deadline is 15 September 2017 and trustees will meet to decide on 9 October 2017.
